Manchester City have been handed an ideal chance to finish the Premier League season strong, with results falling perfectly in their favor. After a turbulent campaign, Pep Guardiola’s side are finally hitting form at the right moment.

Resurgence at the Perfect Time

For much of the season, City struggled to replicate their usual dominance. But since March, they’ve turned a corner—seven wins and a draw in all competitions, their best run since the start of the campaign. Even when they stumbled (like trailing 2-0 to Crystal Palace), they fought back, with Kevin De Bruyne leading the charge.

Now, they’re on the verge of securing Champions League football and have an FA Cup final to look forward to. More importantly, this weekend’s fixtures have set up a dream scenario for them.

A Weekend That Could Seal Their Fate
– City play first —facing already-relegated Southampton on Saturday. A win puts pressure on their rivals.
–  Arsenal vs. Liverpool (Sunday) : If the Gunners drop points, City can draw level in second.
Newcastle vs. Chelsea: With both just a point behind City, this clash guarantees at least one rival will lose ground.
Villa face a tough trip to Bournemouth, while Forest host Leicester in a winnable game.

Control in Their Hands
If City beat Southampton, just one more win from their final two games should secure a top-five finish. After a season of setbacks, they’re no longer relying on others—they can shape their own destiny.
