An ex-Chancellor and the Swedish royal couple visited the Salzburg Festival.

The celebrity density in Salzburg is increasing: a chancellor (ex-chancellor Angela the royal couple. Merkel) and a royal couple (King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden) attended the premiere of the revival of Gluck’s opera Orfeo ed Euridice yesterday evening ” with the mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli in the leading role.
