Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano (ADA), has announced a series of major updates and potential partnerships during a recent live broadcast, signaling exciting growth for the Cardano ecosystem.
One of the standout revelations was Hoskinson’s disclosure of ongoing discussions with Ripple (XRP). The talks focus on a potential collaboration involving Ripple’s stablecoin, RLUSD. “Things are going really well with Ripple. We’re in talks with RLUSD,” Hoskinson shared, hinting at upcoming interoperability between the Cardano and Ripple networks.
Expanding Partnerships: Flare Networks and World Mobile
Hoskinson also revealed that Flare Networks—the team behind the FLR token—is exploring ways to integrate with Cardano, particularly around oracle solutions. If successful, this partnership could strengthen Cardano’s smart contract capabilities and data services.
In addition, the Cardano team is moving toward formalizing a deeper relationship with World Mobile Group. “We’re working to finalize some formal partnerships. I would like World Mobile to be the second partner chain after Midnight. That’s next, and we’re heading in that direction,” Hoskinson explained.
Optimism on the Regulatory Front
Turning to the regulatory landscape, Hoskinson expressed optimism about the future of crypto regulation in the United States. He praised newly appointed SEC Chairman Paul Atkins, highlighting a more positive approach compared to former leadership. “What Gensler did will fix a lot of the problems. Paul is part of the solution,” Hoskinson said, adding that necessary legislative changes could happen by August.
