Beyoncé kicked off her Cowboy Carter world tour in spectacular fashion at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, unveiling a star-studded and emotional setlist that captured the spirit of her genre-blending eighth album. This 32-date global tour marks a milestone moment in Beyoncé’s career, following critical acclaim and Grammy wins that solidified Cowboy Carter as a groundbreaking project in modern music.
The tour’s opener comes just over a year after the album’s release and a few months after her unforgettable Christmas Day debut performance during the Texans-Ravens NFL halftime show. That show, featuring Shaboozey and Post Malone, drew over 27 million U.S. viewers and gave fans a first taste of her new country-infused era.

Originally delayed due to wildfires in Los Angeles, Beyoncé announced the tour in February 2025. Since then, anticipation has only grown, especially after her historic achievement as the first Black woman to top Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart with “Texas Hold ’Em.”
“I just feel very full and very honored,” Beyoncé said during her Grammy acceptance speech. “It’s been many, many years. I just want to thank the Grammys, every songwriter, every collaborator, every producer, for all of the hard work.”
