Criticising and calling of names without knowing the fact also shows your ignorance.
As some comments here clearly pointed… Let’s not forget that politics and business works hands in hands. One can’t say because he/she is a businessman or an entrepreneur therefore anything about politics is of no interest.
He/she should also know that only a single policy from politics or politicians will crash or jeopardise his/her business. The example is already on ground now ( APC economic policies and the Nigeria importers). Now concerning Facebook platform, its owner Mark Zuckerberg and BIAFRA/ Biafra Agitators.
If they accused him of mangling with Nigeria government about Biafra issue, I will not condemn them because Facebook has been a platform used in this 21st century by political parties to facilitate their agendas and draw support around the world.
Let’s not forget that, it’s on this same platform and twitter that was used in Arab uprising to outer Gaddafi, Egyptian mubarak and destruction of Syria that’s still going on now…. The truth is that, Mark Zuckerberg play politics alot and he is actively listening to any nation ruling party.
It has happened many times here in Austria where an opposition party leader (FPO) Facebook account was blocked, simply because he criticised the ruling party on Facebook and draw huge number of supports, “LIKES and COMMENTS.”
So Nigeria government may want to use Facebook as a weapon to fight against BIAFRA by requesting him to block any graphic images and video from BIAFRA pages or anything with BIAFRA, KILLINGS, NIGERIA SOLDIERS, UNARMED or even block any account that post such.
Nigeria been a large market and Africa largest Social media consumer with over 50 millions daily active user on Facebook which brings much revenue to Facebook.
I don’t think Mark Zuckerberg will not comply with any instruction given to him by Nigeria government or Facebook will be banned in Nigeria. It has happened in Turkey,Russia, China and others.
As many are saying “what concerns Mark Zuckerberg with politics, He’s for business” and I said many things concerns him because his nature of business plays important role in stabilising and destabilising a nation. Social media has been the only quick access to information, awareness in this 21st century and governments around the world are not finding it funny…
