Calls for Joe Biden’s resignation using the 25th Amendment have emerged this week, amid speculation that the 80-year-old president is grappling with dementia, according to reports from RadarOnline.com.
In an unexpected turn of events as President Biden gears up for the upcoming election cycle, critics of the octogenarian commander-in-chief have asserted that his cognitive decline is so severe that he lacks the competence to lead the nation for another four years.
American Thinker, which advocated for Biden’s resignation and invoked the 25th Amendment, claimed on Monday that unmistakable indications of his dementia are becoming increasingly apparent. The outlet pointed to instances where he displays confusion, hesitates in decision-making, and struggles to recall his speeches. It also noted that he misuses important political terms and experiences memory lapses, such as falsely recalling events or declaring emergencies related to climate change.
The executive order signed by Biden aimed at promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity within the federal workforce was cited by the outlet as additional evidence of his alleged cognitive decline. They argued that such a move raises concerns about him being influenced by radical ideologues, further supporting their case that he may no longer be mentally fit for his role.

It’s important to emphasize that at present, there is no concrete proof that President Biden is suffering from dementia. However, his presidency has been marked by numerous verbal slip-ups and physical mishaps since he assumed office in January 2021.
Even though there’s no substantial evidence of Biden’s dementia, his age has drawn criticism. GOP Senator Rick Scott previously criticized Biden for being incoherent, incapacitated, and confused, particularly highlighting his inability to effectively communicate and lead. Despite his age, there are no public acknowledgments of his potential health challenges and limitations, indicating a reluctance to address these concerns for the greater good of the nation.
Notably, if Biden were to secure a second term in the 2024 election, he would become the oldest president in U.S. history, with the potential to serve until the age of 86 by the end of his second term in January 2029. This age factor has come under scrutiny, especially since his official announcement of his re-election bid in April.
