Trevillion, previously regarded as having a clean record, pleaded guilty to five counts of fraud by false representation.
Her relocation from London to Poole following the dissolution of her 18-year relationship marked a tumultuous period. Despite intending to work 25 hours weekly, she faced extended absences due to emotional strain post-separation.
Richard Middleton, her defense counsel, shed light on her emotional turmoil, emphasizing her attempts to cope with the aftermath of her marriage’s end. He explained, “She relocated to Bournemouth, seeking solace. Despite initial employer support, her prolonged absence led to dismissal.”

While acknowledging her wrongdoing, Trevillion demonstrated remorse and accountability for her actions, expressing regret for the distress caused.
The court imposed a two-year conditional discharge on Trevillion, coupled with a restitution order totaling £206.28 to Sainsbury’s, along with £111 in costs and victim surcharge.
Trevillion, residing on Soberton Road, Bournemouth, now endeavors to rebuild her life with a renewed sense of integrity and responsibility.
