Struggling with financial strain in a new relationship, Trevillion faced challenges covering rent and received unsettling advice to resort to theft.

While acknowledging her wrongdoing, Trevillion demonstrated remorse and accountability for her actions, expressing regret for the distress caused.

The court imposed a two-year conditional discharge on Trevillion, coupled with a restitution order totaling £206.28 to Sainsbury’s, along with £111 in costs and victim surcharge.
