That might sound like a lot—until you remember that back in May 2022, these same NFTs were going for over 150 ETH—around $375,000. Same Ethereum price. Very different vibes.
What changed?
The truth is, FOMO (fear of missing out) is a hell of a drug. When prices are soaring and celebrities are tweeting, logic takes a back seat. Everyone wants in before the rocket launches—never mind if it’s heading for the moon or straight into the sea.
This is the uncomfortable truth about speculation:
